The Fort Venango Mike & Key Club is an Amateur Radio club located in the Oil City-Franklin area of Venango County in Pennsylvania, although some of our members live as far as Leeper and Brookville in Forest and Clarion County, respectively. Our club callsign is W3ZIC – Whiskey Three Zulu India Charlie.
We provide fun and fellowship for our fellow Amateur Radio operators in the area, communications for public events, and emergency communications in the event of natural disaster. The latter two are at no cost as per Federal Communications Commission law.
We regularly provide communications for the Marienville Fire Department’s “Tour De Forest” off-road ATV race, held twice a year – once in the spring and once in the fall.
If you are interested in becoming a Amateur Radio Operator and/or ready to take your test please contact any of our Officers (CLICK) for more information.
Mission Statement

We are committed to using our network of technical resources to provide equipment and skilled operators to assist and protect the citizens in the communities in which we live and serve.
We do this by actively planning for the future of Amateur Radio with activities that include recruiting, training, advancement and helping committed hams carry on the tradition of amateur radio.
